A Walk in Her Shoes

A Walk in Her Shoes is an annual community cancer walk that not only raises awareness but also creates a strong, localized impact. The location of the walk changes every two years to maximize local engagement and support.

• Year 1: In the first year, the focus is on building awareness and creating connections within the selected community. We partner with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders to offer essential resources, screenings, and educational sessions. It's a powerful opportunity for the community to learn, connect, and take action toward early detection and preventative measures.

• Year 2: In the second year, we deepen our involvement in the community by addressing feedback and reinforcing the partnerships developed during Year 1. The event expands with the "Show Your Colors" theme. focusing on all cancers. Year 2 serves as a continuation of the efforts made, building a legacy of health empowerment and lasting change.
